Our Aerospace client based in China require the support of an Aircraft Interiors Electrician, to support their current production programs. Candidates must be willing to live and work in China for 1 years initial contract. Working across production areas regarding electrical requirements ensuring that production deadlines are met efficiently, safely and to appropriate quality standards.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Working across all aspects of aircraft interiors electrics, ensuring that deadlines are met.
- Manufacture of electrical harnesses, components, control modules
- Test and inspection of electrical assemblies • Install electrical components into units.
- Experience in the fitting of aircraft galleries • Reading and understanding engineering drawings, wiring diagrams.
- Meeting set production targets.
- Ensure products are built to appropriate quality standards, right first time.
- Ensure Health & Safety standards are adhered to at all times.
- Maintain a safe, organised and efficient work area
- Ensure efficient production flow and make suggestions as to how work flow could be improved.
- Escalate issues to line management as required.
- Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with quality and safety regulations.
Knowledge, Education, and Skills:- Experience in a production environment.
- Electrical experience (preferred 3 to 5 years in aerospace).
- Good IT skills with working knowledge of MRP.
- Time served apprenticeship preferred electrical basis.

- Excellent attention to detail, organisation and time management skills.
- Strong communication and team working skills.
- High regard for Health and Safety.
- Gives and welcomes feedback and contributes to building a positive team spirit.
Candidates must be willing to live and work in China for at least 1 years initial contract. Mandarin Chinese speaking would be very advantageous, but not essential.
