Chief Expert in Engine Performance of Aviation Hybrid Electric Engines
Our Aero Engine client based in China is looking to hire an experienced Engine Performance Engineer to be involved in new Hybrid Electric Engine programs. Candidates should be prepared to live and work in Shanghai for this interesting role. This is an opportunity to contribute on new technologies and to see and explore Asia.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate the development plan for the engine performance in the field of aviation hybrid electric engines, responsible for establishing the design system for hybrid power engine performance, and develop the engine performance design processes while organizing the preparation of relevant work standards and guidelines.Guide the implementation of engine performance schemes, control functions, and logic designs for hybrid electric engines, plan testing for the complete machine and core engine, execute tests, troubleshoot issues, and analyze data.
- Undertake research projects related to the engine performance of aviation hybrid power, organize scientific research resources and technical expertise, and facilitate the technological transformation of research outcomes.
- Organize the resolution of technical issues related to engine performance that arise during the design, testing, data analysis, and production phases of hybrid electric engines.
- Provide technical consultation for engineering development issues.
- Responsible for the technical training of aviation hybrid power engine performance.
- Complete other technical work assigned by the company.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications: - 15+ years of engineering experience in engine performance design and verification of aviation engines, with preference for candidates who have worked on hybrid electric engine projects or have design experience in aviation three-electric (motor, electronic control, energy storage).
- Have a deep knowledge reserve in the engine design of high bypass ratio turbofan engines, new-type civil aviation engines, or aviation electric propulsion engines, and familiarity with the engine performance design processes and methods for civil aviation engines.
- Have a deep knowledge reserve in aviation engine and aviation electric machine, familiar with the design process & analysis methods of electric machine system for aviation hybrid electric propulsion.
- Experienced in taking charge of the major research project, preferred.
- Master’s degree or above.
