Aero Engine Performance Engineers - China.
Our Aerospace client based in China, requires support in the form of several experienced Engine Performance Engineers. The successful candidates will work locally in China on a contract basis supporting a new aero engine program. Candidates with a strong background and experience in this field are invited to apply.
This will be an interesting role, allowing the Engineer time to see and explore this part of Asia. Good long term prospects. 1 -3 years initial contract.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for engine demand analysis, as well as the decomposition of performance indicators and parameter coordination.
- Responsibility includes the design of engine performance and control strategies, encompassing the selection of cycle parameters, steady-state performance design, transient performance design, variable geometry performance analysis, and the design of control strategies, among others.
- Responsible for defining aircraft engine control functions, designing control strategies, and handling control interface documents.
- Responsible for the design and assessment analysis of engine aerodynamic stability and related work.
- In charge of performance test design and analysis, as well as engine model analysis and related work.
- Engaged in engine testing, data analysis, and summarizing test results, and related work.
- Responsible for the model verification and correction methods based on test results.
- Participating in the formulation and drafting of overall performance design processes, specifications, and standards.
- Responsible for enterprise standardization technical research.
- Responsible for technical coordination among departments, including components and systems design.
- Participating in the design of engine performance, control strategies, and ensuring the relevant certification plan are adhered to in engine simulations.
Requirements- Professional Qualifications: Strong understanding of principles of aero-engines, aviation aero-engine control, engineering thermodynamics, and proficiency in programming languages. Graduates from related majors such as aerospace propulsion, power engineering, and engineering thermophysics are preferred.
- Education Level: Master degree or above.
Miscellaneous Requirement:- Summarizing technical experiences, good teamwork and actions, and excellent communication skills, draft technical reports or papers, experience in software development.
- English language skills: Proficient in reading technical materials in the field, able to write technical reports and papers in English, have a good grasp of English-speaking for communication, and understand English technical lectures and presentations.
