Lead Engineer - Aircraft Engine Turbine Blades and Vanes - China.
Our Aero Engine Client based in Shanghai are looking to appoint a Lead Engineer within the field of Aircraft Engine Turbine Blades and Vanes. This role is based in China. You will need to be happy to live and work in Shanghai for 1- 3 years initially, with the prospect of long term contracts.
Experience and Qualifications:
10+ years related working experience in aero-engine turbine blades and vanes strength design( 2~3 years can be acceptable from candidates with outstanding ability).
A masters degree or above is preferred, in solid mechanics, mechanical engineering, gas turbine engine, aero propulsion or associated majors. Previous Senior role experience preferred.
Extensive experience related to turbine blades and vanes strength; Familiar with turbine blades and vanes strength problems and solutions.
Extensive product development and research experiences.
Excellent communication skills and ability to lead the teamwork.
Familiarity with FEA software and tools, such as ANSYS.
Proven Knowledge and experiences in aero-engine airworthiness are desirable.
Role and Duties:
Responsible for aero-engine turbine blades and vanes strength.
Responsible to solve technical problems of aero-engine turbine blades and vanes in design, analysis, testing and production.
Responsible for organizing the establishment and implementation of the design system of aero-engine turbine blades and vanes strength.
Responsible for the technical ability training of strength engineers, and provide technical guidance.
Responsible for implementing airworthiness requirements related to aero-engine turbine blades and vanes strength.
Responsible for coordinating with customers and suppliers in technical issues and the related design quality control.
Responsible for reviewing related technical reports.
